Giving Thanks to 2020
This is it, the day of thanks! My cup runneth over! It’s impossible to capture the flood of fortune in so many words. I’ll try my best to list the ones that immediately
come to mind, both big and small, in no particular order.
The ability to cook and commune with friends and family.
An abundance of “found family”. A group of people who hold me up, while keeping me grounded. A community that accepts and loves the person I truly am.
An attachment to something greater than myself that encourages me to work hard and opens opportunities based on my strength.
A career where playing and working are one in the same.
A survival job I enjoy, with coworkers I’ve grown to admire.
Living in a beautiful town with my best friend and her partner/my friend, and Sadie
The freedom to go outside and enjoy nature.
Gordon Ramsey, for his great turkey recipe.
There is so much to be grateful for. Let us all take this day, and appreciate what we have. I appreciate you taking the time to read my blog post. Now, get off whatever device you're reading this on and spend the day living in the moment with the people around you. This post will be here tomorrow.
